Granite paving, edging and entrance steps

Granite paving, kerbs and steps

Granite brings the texture of natural stone to a driveway, path or entrance. AMBRU prepares the base, lays granite setts, installs granite kerbs and builds steps. We can use stone you have already purchased or arrange the material as part of the project.
Leave your phone number and email – we will call to clarify the details. A free site visit is possible in Riga and nearby areas; we arrange it after reviewing your enquiry. We work across Latvia; site visits elsewhere are arranged individually.

Where we use granite

Granite surfaces and details across the site

Driveways and courtyards

We lay granite paving with the expected use and load in mind.

Paths and entrance areas

We create walking routes and paved spaces that meet surrounding levels and surfaces.

Kerbs and steps

We install granite kerbs and form steps as part of a coordinated entrance or landscape layout.

Mixed paving schemes

Granite can cover the main area or form a defined part of a wider paving project.

We assess the base, levels and connections to existing surfaces before agreeing on the construction and scope.

Choosing the solution

The right granite work starts with the site

Appearance alone does not determine the paving design. We need to know whether the area is for pedestrians, cars or another use, what lies beneath the existing surface and how water will leave the paved area. Those conditions shape the base preparation, levels, falls, stone choice and kerb position. For steps, we also consider safe and comfortable use.
Natural granite may vary in colour and texture. If you supply the stone, we check its dimensions, quantity and suitability for the intended work before agreeing on a proposal. If we arrange supply, we agree the specific material with you as part of the quote. We confirm whether the chosen stone suits the driveway or steps after assessing the site.

Scope of work

From ground preparation to finished granite details

Depending on the site, the project may include:
The proposal identifies the base preparation, materials and related work included. Where the paved area needs rainwater drainage, we assess it within the paving project.

Cost of work

What affects the price of granite paving

The estimate depends on:

Area

Type and quantity of stone

Existing base

Expected load

Laying pattern

Kerbs and steps

Site access

Who supplies the material

Changes to existing paving or drainage associated with the paved area are scoped for the individual project. A single square metre rate cannot show the full cost before we know the base condition and scope. Send an enquiry and we will clarify the task and prepare a proposal for your site.
